Whose the bigger icon of Christmas: Santa or Snowman?




This wood-carving shows Santa as the victor. Then he carries Snowman's head around on a a spike ala Vlad the Impaler to remind everyone who is the boss. Scary.

Sparkling wine wishes...

Loved this interview on Fresh Air yesterday. Loved them saying, keep a bottle of sparkling wine on hand to celebrate anytime you want, something like you just made it home okay. I agree with that sentiment completely. Especially after I've driven through a Minnesota snowstorm. I always feel the need to celebrate that.
